The Laughs are last in their division. Lost again tonight.
Can't win them all.
Leafs are doing a lot better this year that's for sure.
Chris  & all Leaf fans must be optimistic.
In sports there are surprises sometimes. World Series win for Chicago & Ottawa are Grey Cup Champs in 2016 ( win over the Stamps )
FA must also be very optimistic as the Canucks are playing some exciting hockey recently.
Canucks roster names sure have changed a lot.
Both teams in action tonight.
Against Boston & Florida.
Should be very exciting / both away games for the Leafs & Canucks.

Your so kind to say; " thank you"!
Well the sports posts looked "slow" so an extra member contributing may help out alittle.
Plus I like to draw on the knowledge you,FA & Chris ( others ) give on sports insights,so I can steal them & tell others in sports conversations. 8)
Toronto gets the win. Their goalie deserves a Cuban cigar. Leafs out shot. Leafs skated hard.
Thought the Canucks would tie up the game in the 3rd as Florida was only up a goal.
Luongo made saves even though he was screened.
Canucks owners are still paying some of his salary & he still haunts us.
Maybe Miller should of been in the nets thus possibly Luongo may of been a little more nervous.
Afraid Canucks #1 goalie would get the W on the past Canuck #1 stopper.
Luongo should never of been given the C. when he was a Canuck. Goalie's deal with enough stress as it is.
He sure closed the door tonight. Canucks in the 3rd pressured him. How did the puck stay out?

The Leafs will be back to their losing ways tomorrow as they get to face the Colorado Avalanche. Colorado got hammered 10-1 by the Habs tonight so they'll be pissed.

Good point. Totally agree. Plus the Leafs after beating Boston will have fat heads.
Leafs have a history of one step forward & two steps back.
Avs as you mentioned are going to play like hornets coming out of their nest. Leafs are going to get stung. Ha !
See if the Leafs prove us wrong.  ;D
Have a friend who lives in Winnipeg & he's a die hard Jet fan.
When I mention a negative about his team play you can just feel his blood pressure hitting like 200/130!
The phone gets put down rather quick. His team lost 5-1 or 6-1 something like that.
Good time to give him a call call & ask how's things going.
Me ; love sports but never get too down if my team does not win.
Take it too serious & one get's like the rioters after Boston best Vancouver in game 7.
Vegas will be in the league next year I believe. Add another team to the mix & all that much harder to win the Cup. 30 something teams & 1 cup.
Maybe we should have the Stanley Cup for victors, Stanley Gold medal for 2nd place ,Stanley Silver medal for 3rd place & Stanley Bronze medal for 4th place.
At least 3 other teams can be proud they fought to the near end of the playoffs & be remembered for it.
The Canucks in their 3 Stanley Cup losses would of had 3 Stanley Gold medals.

Ha I'd like to watch the superstitious guys dodge there heads around to avoid the medals after losing, much like them not touching the conference championship trophies.

;D
Guess NHL when handing out the medal to a player they can give an envelope with $50,000 "Cash"
( big envelope ) they will not dodge their heads at that point & time.
Chris must be pulling his hair out as the Leafs came across a hot goalie. 50 something shots & still a loss.
Leaf goalie played great too.
Canucks are just pacing themselves. Why play hard & tire out yourself for the playoffs. ( playoffs? )
Back to back games on road trips are killers. Plus a 3 hr change ; West coast to a East coast ...body clock is out of whack.
Canucks are traveling more air miles than any NHL team. Boo.
FA was right. AVs came out & got the W.

As predicted, Leafs lost 3-1. Tough to be Laugh fan. Hope Chris is enjoying the roller coaster ride. ;D

Like yourself, I don't dwell on the past.  ;D Heard the Make Beliefs blew a 2 goal lead. Was Babcock following Desjardins' game plan ?

Though the Leafs lost after having a 2-0 lead, they did get a pt. 2-2 after 60 minutes.
Giving up a big lead in the 3rd period the way the Canucks did & losing is unreal.
Hope Chris does not file this game in his memory to use it against us Canuck fans in the future.
4-5 goals scored against with no reply at 1pt in the 3rd.
Miller should have some dark chocolate before each period. Give him alertness.

This loss is compared to ordering the "daily special surprise" & they set your dish before you.
Dry un mashed potatoes, canned un heated corn, & over fried beef liver.
The 1st period ya eat the un mashed potatoes,2nd period ya eat the corn & the 3rd eat the over cooked beef liver.
30 minutes later ya let out a silent "fart" & the people in the entire room go into a coughing fit. Eyes running with tears.
This loss is like 10 Maple Leaf losses. Boo!

It's not as if the Leafs have never blown a lead. Many a Leaf goalies have suffered 3rd degree burns from the red goal light and it wasn't during an extended stay in Florida. Just to remind Chris of his team:
