I've used all 3, the one I'm using now is the Vapor XXX, to me they basically all feel the same so I would take your own advise and go with the pattern you like. I make my choices on what my buddies give me, I like them all. The differences between them are minimal and if your new to the game it's not going to made a difference.

Ended up with the 2007 Easton Stealth CNT Grip with the Sakik and the 85 flex.  I'm pumped to try it out.  It cost me a pretty penny, so hopefully it doesn't realize the same fate as the Warrior.

An 85 flex seems a little light. How big are you?

It doesn't really matter how big you are I think its all personal preference. You would be really surprised at the number of guys that use 85 flex, Bret Hull when he played, Lupul, Kunitz, Perry, and Pronger all use 85 flex and there all big guys.

Its all tecnique when it comes to shooting, plus the more flex you have the better the feel of the stick I think.

I'm only 5'7" and 155lbs, so I don't have much leverage on the stick to really flex it and load it up.

That's great, the Stealth is a great weapon! Have fun with those one timers in the slot.

I really like the stick so far.  I used it last night and tonight.  Scored once and clanked the post twice.  The stick has a softer feel on the puck and so far has fared better than my old Warrior.  Only a couple scuffs, compared to chips on the Warrior after one game.
