Title: buzz bombing for Salmon
Post by: kevzabob on August 11, 2014, 09:31:30 PM
HI,
well I ventured up to Chilliwack and the local bars, fishing bars that is, with no success. Nice bounce on the the Betty but not producing.  Lots of boats and anglers.  Is it possible to just buzz bomb on the Fraser lower down and catch salmon or is this technique useless.

I don't really want to have to drive 1 hr all the time to fish, any great spots lower down, or lakes, rivers near Langley BC.

thanks

Glen Valley. 2 Bit Bar. Take the #1 to 264 and go North all the way down to 88th, make a right travel to the end and make a left at the stop sign, 2 Bit is on the left, or pass it and park along River road and walk down to the bar. You can plunk a tbar with large BRIGHT spin n glo or cast spoons. Nice spot but can be harder to hook up a Sockeye then near Chilliwack.

Buzz bombs are a bit expensive to lose on a snag in the river. Casting or floating spinners it a cheap + effective method.
