Title: New toy for FWR - Drone Camera
Post by: BananasQ on May 12, 2015, 04:44:30 PM
Seriously, this is awesome - I don't need this, but I desperately want it.  Technology comes up with yet more ways to separate me from my hard earned money.  Just watch the video.

I never really thought about buying one but now I am - dang it. It would almost be worth it to buzz around people on a lake when you want their spot. No - I must resist the temptation. Must be used for good not evil. ;)

That thing looks pretty solid ,but does it come back when battery is about to be depleted and can you view through a cellphone what camera sees? Still 4 hours of charging for only 20 minutes of flight... I'll wait untill quick charging is employed.

If I was still doing fishing videos I'd purchase one right now. That is amazing!

A drone is going to be my next purchase. I already have enough other cameras, and I hardly need any more fishing tackle. The "Lily" looks very interesting, and especially for someone like myself who is non-technology oriented. I like the simple "push and go" type stuff. I never did learn to play those remote control video games. They don't interest me, but I can really see the advantage of a drone in making high quality videos that are interesting to everyone.
