Time to sling some guts :P
I really can't understand anyone's thinking here.
The top of this forum has a thread which reads:
Topic: Steelhead in danger!
LimitKiller wants to sling guts at any in the river (reminder...bait ban upstream of sign at Martel) ::)
CAPTAIN BONK looks to have hoped to be the only one to know, hence have the river to himself? :o
ME!...if the Thompson steelhead are truly in trouble...why would any dyed in the wool, true steelhead angling sportsman want to harass those remaining fish in a catch and release fishery...where bait can be used? :-\
So lets hear from everyone who's game to head to the Thompson and catch one, maybe one last time. :(
-
Sad for the T steelhead. :-\
We'll be staying far away from them. There isn't a need to further jeopardize their chance of survival after natural predators, gill nets, etc simply because we want to hold a exotic trophy catch. We'll also be locking LukeYVR up with intense monitoring so he is no where near the T as it appears the fish are finding his roe irresistable. ;)

If its legal, take your gripe up with someone else, like the fisheries managers.
