Title: Anybody know about Spiny Dogfish and Salmon?
Post by: Morty on July 16, 2009, 10:14:55 PM
Can any of you fish experts out there help interpret these figures?

Here's todays test catch Comments:
<Cottonwood GN> Gilled vs. Tangled: No Catch. 5 seals observed during testing. No fish obsevered hitting the net.
No fish on sounder.
<Whonnock GN> Gilled vs. Tangled: No Catch. One fish observed striking the net. 2 seals observed during testing.
<Area 20GN> All Coho were released. Only 1 set made due to time require to pick dogfish. 1087 dogfish.
<Area 20GN> All Coho were released. Only 1 set due to time required to pick digfish. 1714 dogfish.
<Area 12GN> 3 sets.

Is there a relationship between Dogfish and salmon numbers?
Do they co-exist or are they competitors?
