Luna parts
« on: October 14, 2014, 10:02:02 PM »

Guess I released the spool tension knob more than I should have and it came off and fell into the river as I was casting. Anyone know where I could pick up the part?

Hey BCfisherman97 - you can order one from Mike's Reel Repair - or pick it up if your near Abbotsford.  The part is the "cast control cap", part # F57-4403.  It's the same part on the 253 or 300 (I'm assuming you have either model - left or right hand shouldn't matter).  I've put the link to order the part here:

http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_description=1&manufacturers_id=&keywords=F57-4403

Sorry you lost your cap, but you shouldn't have a problem getting a new one.  Good luck.

Try dab of purple/light threadlock. I fish 300 rh on Fraser.  201 lh on vedder.  Never  lost the cap. Set to have slightest play so it is on losely.
