yeah tks im aware of that. Its stored in my phone now. Didnt have my license with me as I was walking my dogs. Witnessed gill netters on a chum fishery throwing back chum and killing nothing but springs and coho wild and hatchery by the dozens. Thought it was important to report immediately.  I don't appreciate the lecture. I new I could get a quick answer here and I did. I don't think too many on this forum would have an issue with me asking for the number, under the circumstances.  Chill out!

tell me about!  I was told on the phone that they are allowed a certain amount of by-catch. I asked him how is it a by-catch when the fish they are supposed to be targeting are being thrown back dead and alive and keeping nothing but silver fish.

Yeah its a sad state out there. Wait till they start beach seining chum for economic opportunity for the roe and all the coho they take even though they aren't supposed to. Our government ain't the brightest bunch

If people can post up when this was taking place, that'd be great so I can look into it further for you.

Rod it was taking place at Ridgedale bar. Above Mission bridge on south side of river.  There is a chum fishery and apparently they will be fishing again today.
