effectively covering water
« on: December 22, 2011, 09:41:05 AM »

When covering a run etc, is it best to make shorter to longer casts from the same spot and let your gear drift a while and then let it sweep across before retrieving or making casts to the other side and letting it drift a bit before sweeping it across and then move a bit down and repeat?

Holy run on sentence Batman, LOL

Fan cast starting in close and work your way out. Don't let it drift too far downstream. (Hard to hook set) After covering the water take a few steps downstream and repeat.
