Local Lakes
« on: August 05, 2016, 02:14:52 PM »

Hi All,
Well it looks like I might have a bit of free time this weekend so thinking about breaking out the kayak and doing a bit of lake fishing.
Leaning towards Alouette or Kawkawa as I don't want to spend the day in my truck.
Any suggestions for this time of year?
Thanks
JOE

I'm actually thinking about renting a canoe out on Buntzen and trying my luck out there. Good luck to the both of us xD.

Chatting with a regular at Kawkawa last night actually and the report was fishing is still good for kokanee. Limits of fish were taken between 10am and 2pm, but had to work for them.

Excellent thanks Rodney.
I have never been out there so figure give it a go.
Worst case I get a good paddle in on a nice day...best case I land a few fish :)
