Fraser Yesterday
« on: June 28, 2004, 10:07:19 AM »

Fished yesterday in Chilliwack area, had 4 hookups between two of us.  Landed two, one about 12 lbs, and other was very small jack, about 4 lbs.   Man I got burnt!  Red chinook is sooo good, mmm...mmm...barb-e-que!

Visibility was poor, river is still quite high, maybe 2-3 in.  but the river is on the drop now, it won't be long before the fishing really picks up.   The fish are there, just have to put in the time, we fished for about 10 hours.

I was fishing unethically..."the other way".  Once the river drops and visibility clears I am going to put more time in bar fishing, I figure fish the more productive way according to the conditions.  With the cost of gas, and beer, it is a must to take a fish back for the barbeque.   I am going out again Thursday, I will post current conditions and if I have any success.  Maybe I will toss a spin-n-glo out for a few hours if the visibility improves.

Oh and I was at that bar across the river from that tree accross from the other tree beside that big rock.  Just 50 yrds back and to the left.
