Cap Tonight
« on: June 24, 2004, 09:52:41 PM »

Low and slow. Couple of guys practicing their flycasting at the Cable Pool.  Two other anglers trying to float fish a little further up. Sorry it couldn't be a more favourable report.

Thank's FA, it's to bad the water is so low right now because if it was a little higher maybe some fish could make it up river. Oh well, at least we have the upcoming Vedder opening and the Fraser fish.

I have heard rumors that the cap mouth is full of fish. Any confirmation?

I took a few pictures of that seal, but the pictures didn't really turn out.  Also, they're filming the movie "ELEKTRA" at the cap from june 24-28.

We saw one at Dog Leg a few years ago and were quite surprised. We've also seen a couple beaver swimming about throughout the river, pretty cool.

I've seen a lot of wildlife at the cap, obviously. I've seen that little weasel like animal, bears, beavers, hawks, eagles, otters, and many more animals that I couldn't identify.

I've seen more than my share of weasels, including the two legged species. ;)
