is it an all day fishing opportunity, and is it a gong show every day of the week?

A bunch of us should claim a bar to ourselves. Could you imagine, a 500 metre bar lined up with FWR members. Now THAT would be a gong show.  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Yes, and "More or less"

I've always fished among courteous people, and the couple of times someone has cut in, those around let them know, and I don't even personally know the guys I'm fishing next to.

That would be fun (a FWR bar),  but no matter how early I get up (and how long I stand in the dark), I never seem to be the first one to a shore accessible bar...need a boat to get some solitude and peace.
