I was there on saturday, I basically tried everything to no avail. I saw one school around and that's about all, talk about lock jaw :'(. Those coho are notorious for not biting and that's not going to change any time soon. But it's still to early,I think fish are still going up river on the high tide at night because the numbers of fish at the mouth aren't great.

Most of the regulars don't start fishing the mouth til the second week of July

Actually a few days ago I was fishing the cap mouth with one of the regulars and I also saw Eric Carlisle. But last year guys were catching more coho's at the mouth at this time of the year. So far I've only heard of one coho landed at the cap mouth.

Doesn't bode well for next week. :'( Just finished tying up my leaders........

Don't be so negative. It could start to heat up any day now. I just checked the cap cam and they've closed the dam a bit more and the water has dropped atleast a foot or two from saturday.
