Vedder Fishing Report
« on: January 31, 2006, 05:02:56 PM »

Well, after a day of mud, it looks like the Vedder River repaired itself nicely. Water height was perfect and the clarity was just perfect.

Went up and down this nice run for about three times before my float went down at the tail end of this run. The fight was on and the chrome fish took off a few times before I was able to bring it in. It was a nice 8-9lb hatchery buck. I did not have much time to fish today and my wife has been asking me to keep a small fish for her. That was my day.

On the way back, I saw a guy connect with a fish but he lost it quickly.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.  Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Nice catch Steelieman.  Congratulation. Looks like a good day there in the river with so many hookups reported.
