it isn't recent news but i just heard about it from a fellow angler. he told me that it was on the news too, showing all the orange stuff covering above the water. what is it about? first, it was the cheakamus, and now the stave, which supports a very good run of chums, pinks and coho in the falls. does it mean that all the off springs r not gonna survive and in a few years of time this river is gonna be "dead" ?

Just read about it in the local rag. The report says the leaching is from an old land fill. I wonder which old logging company will be held responsible for this one?
