Vedder April 8th - What a great day!
« on: April 08, 2005, 10:28:24 PM »

If you like to sun tan. :P Water level, clarity - good. Parked somewhere in mid river. 2:40 pulled over in his FVRD truck while I was getting ready, thought I am being nabbed by a CO for a sec. ;) He was looking for hot fishing news but I had none to give. :)

Hooked one in mid river on pink worm, came off rather fast. :P So far still no Vedder steelies for me, only hooked a few others in some other drinks. ;)

Fished lower briefly too. Got a headache so left earlier than expected.

Have fun weekend warriors. :)

Rod, its been slow lately. Sunday was the last time it was really good- saw about 10 fish caught where I was fishing( lower river). I got one myself on that day.
Buddies went out today and they got 2 but lose them both. My other buddy, an older gentleman got into one hatchery fish today- about 12#.

I've been out every day this week and seen fish every day!  :o Saw a good push of fish yesterday that made some anglers happy as rod after rod was bent over with steel.  All fish were lost but I seen 7 hookups in around a half hour!  :o  I managed to land 2 and both were wild.  Oh well! ;D  LAnded a 10# hatch the day before in the rain storm as well.  Not a bad week if ya ask me!  ::)
