Norrish Creek
« on: February 08, 2016, 05:21:59 PM »

FWR,

I read somewhere on here that the Norrish gets a small run of steelhead every year and im thinking about taking a run out there next weekend to give it a shot. Anything I should know before hitting that part of the world?

Also, if you have any photos of steelies from the Norrish, please share!

Not a chance of that happening. You have a better chance of a picture of a jackalope being posted

I think you have more chances to get one in cap :) but they are c&r only .... pretty big ones there too ... esp now with all the rain and water level going up and down ... mid upper should be prime .

It's a great day out, it's a beautiful River. You're chances of seeing any fish are slim to none,

I was out there today walking my dog. She pulled A dead fish out of the bushes, I couldn't identify it though, the head was a decent size but not much left of it.

Yeah well if I had catching on the mind, I'd try other rivers first. Coho season you're likely to get fish. :)

Been up there a couple times this year.  Always regretted it, fishing wise.

Great solitude with no people around for the most part.  But no fish either, lol.  Other than some sort of sculpin thingy.

Good luck asking the internet about north-side tributaries.
