I am doing some reading about what to use up at Sheridan Lake for good results and I came across two patterns/materials? that I cant seem to find anywhere online. The first is 'horsehair' - what would be a typical 'horsehair' tie ? I know thats the material the pattern is made from but cant seem to find an example. Also, the article spoke of a 'Madsen' or Matsen fly, what do these resemble ?
Any help would be appreciated, going to Sheridan this Friday to catch some lunkers ( hopefully)

I have that picture of the horse hair fly you are talking about but can't seem to find it. It was brought up on another forum and used by the locals at Sheridan Lake .
If I find the pic, I'll post it in a new topic. I also had a friend send me some horse hair to make that fly but never did get around to making it.
