« on: October 25, 2005, 04:11:59 PM »

No it was not the Leaf Mobile but a good friend had their vehicle stolen around 8:30 to 11:30 from the Teskey Rock area this morning (Tuesday). :(

It is a Red 95 Dodge Ram 3/4 Ton. Any info please PM me.

I'll keep my eyes peeled, any more info would be good as well, ie, 4x4, extended cab....

Too bad that the Vedder has been so bad with crime lately >:(

I  had the colour wrong on the stolen truck as I have now been told it was silver and black with a canopy on it. Also had Veteran plates. Anyone see it parked there this morning?

Nah! Those are just play-acting Hollywood pretty boys. Since the local police force don't have the resources to patrol all the recreational areas, I think a very feasible solution would be to contract out to Chico Taco & Co., an offshoot of the Brazilian Police.

Of course the local police union will oppose this strongly as they will be very much embarrassed the problems will virtually be quickly eliminated and have some effect on their job security. Check out the
Brazil Police tactics...

<url removed: sorry bushwacker, but the content of that video is just a bit too overboard for the minors on this forum. :( >

With all those chains on I think that he would probably fall over ::) . One good thing however is that the wind wouldn't carry him away.

Rockyfish, I hope you reported your incident to the RCMP. I know it is a pain but it is important that this reporting be done. The RCMP number is 604.792.4611.

Good to know, at least it's not torched like many stolen cars. :-\

d_w's neighbour had his vehicle stolen as well over the weekend on the Vedder, he can provide more info.
