 Just received DFO sesion  report and spring salmon is opening on July 27 till September. ;) 8) with some restrictions.

Just received DFO sesion  report and spring salmon is opening on July 27 till September. ;) 8) with some restrictions.
Further to FN0485 which confirmed the predicted return of Spring and Summer 5-2
Chinook returns to the Fraser River is in zone 1. The following management
actions will be implemented until July 26, 2013.
   
   
Effective at one hour before sunrise Tuesday, July 16, 2013 and until one hour
after sunset Friday July 26, 2013, in those waters of the Fraser River in
Region 2 (non-tidal Fraser) there is no fishing for salmon.

Effective one hour before sunrise Saturday, July 27, 2013 and until one hour
after sunset Saturday, August 31, 2013, in those waters of the Fraser River in
Region 2 (non-tidal Fraser), the daily limit for wild or hatchery marked
chinook salmon is four (4) per day only one of which can be greater than 50 cm.

Effective one hour before sunrise Sunday, September 1, 2013 and until one hour
after sunset Tuesday, December 31, 2013, in those waters of the Fraser River in
Region 2 (non-tidal Fraser), the daily limit for wild or hatchery marked
chinook salmon is four (4) per day only one of which can be greater than 62 cm.

This is also a reminder that fishing for salmon in the waters of the Fraser
River in Region 2 are open during daylight hours only. Consult your local
newspaper for sunrise and sunset times.
