I need some good recipes!!. Have some Hali and ling I'd like to do up! :)

Hey Dan,

My dad makes great fish n chips with springs and i'm sure it'll even taste better with your hali n ling.  He's on a cruise right now and will be back on Sunday nite.  Maybe you can bring me some and i'll ask him to cook it  ;)  You can do a taste test and see how he does it  :)

Get a good batter recipe, you can google or use one from a member here.  The real key to success is going to be the deep frying.  375 degrees F. is an optimal temp for your oil.  Less than that, your food gets oil soaked, more than that, the outside burns and the inside stays raw.  Read this link:

Do small batches to maintain oil temp.  If you put too much fish and batter into the oil, it will lower the oil temp too much and won't be a proper fry.
