Good to see thieves caught. Light knuckle rap, but it is a start.

"Tyukodi said one of the fishermen was responsible for catching all of the additional fish and his two friends were unsure of how to tell him to stop."
I guess they won't be calling him up to go fishing again. ;D ::)

So they got caught this time. I'll wager every piece of gear I own this wasn't their first rodeo. Makes you wonder how much they've plundered before their luck finally ran out.
I guess they won't be calling him up to go fishing again. ;D ::)
Hey it's all good as long as you agree on how to split the gas costs and court fees ahead of time!

They all knew what they were doing, 1 buddy took the fall...that's what buddy's do...total BS

Not easy to catch so many big trout. The two sneaker must do this a lot.

I'd just ask how well he can swim.... ;)

PUBLISH NAMES AND DON'T ISSUE LICENSES TO OFFENDERS.

On the bright side, they were in compliance with the no gas motor regulation ::)

Two guys caught two each... the third guy caught 14. Wonder why they didn't ask the third guy what kind of setup he was using ::)
-
I guess they would ask but he didn't answer clearly.
-
Maybe the 3rd guy didn't want to reveal his secret. ;)

I think the DFO does this on their website. Is there something similar for freshwater violations?

It's the province that has quarterly enforcement summaries.

Ogilvie, Courtney Robert Southern Vancouver Island Wildlife Act 49(1) $10,000 Guide for fish without angling guide licence

lots of off road vehicle infractions on that list as well.
-
That's a pretty epic list. Quite the variety of violations including littering, firearms, fire bans, etc
I guess the DFO version doesnt show regular tickets as there are only seem to be a few listed each month for the entire province. The number of tickets issued just at the Vedder in October would make for a pretty substantial list.

Not alot in our area, odd.

I have to say i think this one makes me upset because these guys bonked more large trout in a day then I've caught in my lifetime.
Therese definitely a sense of leave some for the rest of us! Sports fishermen are getting guite efferent at raping resources
