Title: What kinda loot did you get today?

Me myself I got a new Bare Kodiak Jacket

3 drennans

a new bait box

miscelaneous other tackle: leader, split shot, hooks etc

Post by: Big Steel on December 25, 2005, 03:43:00 PM: I got a really nice filleting knife, and a couple of gift certificates. With the derby now being cancelled, I will have time to go and get some more gear, eventhough I have everything that I use anyways!! ;D ;D

Is this reel any good? 6500 C3?

They are our 2 grandsons and granddaughter in their Maple Leaf uniforms. It will not be long until they are playing with the Leafs every Saturday night on Hockey night in Canada. ;D ;D ;D

I would not reccomend that reel to anyone. Take it back to freds, add in your gift certificate and get yourself a calcutta ct 250

Post by: BigFisher on December 28, 2005, 03:00:23 PM: Iv gone through 3 Abus over 7-8 years all bought from walmart. I thought they were really good reels and for the price. Never broke down on me, even though i never oiled or did any maintainence on them, I just kept it out of the water and sand. Overal I think their a good reel once you get the handle for them.

i think i got a little spoiled this year ;D ;D ;D
