I stopped in at Babcocks on the way home today and picked up some new fly line and the new regs. On the cover is a picture of a conservation officer inspecting an anglers licence. Now that's something you don't see anymore! 8)
On another note, Kelly Davison has just purchased Babcock's with a partner and will be changing the name to SEARUN Fly & Tackle. Brian is going to work for Sage. I guess Brian had enough of the corner office ;D Good luck Kelly & Brian!

Um, speaking of the cover the reg. book, I'm surprised no one has noticed the mistake yet. ;) Look closely... :)

Not a BC Conservation Officer or DFO. The badge is wrong. What did I win? 8)

One more thing about that front cover...
On page 1, they say that the officer is inspecting a hatchery Coho. Does that look like a Coho or a Steelhead doe? looks a little Steelheadish to me. The tail looks forked, but if you pulled the folds out, it might be much straighter. Hmmmmm?
