peg leg

has anybody been out at peg leg in the last week, thinking about doing some shore fishing opening day, can u get a truck across yet?

i would try duncan bar or the mouth of the stave lots of large fish on fishfinder last week at the stave

The water level is still high at Pegleg. There are lots of boats at the other side.

Peg is among the last of the bars available to land rods. The upper bars like Scales, Pipleline are earlier but they are basically bouncing bars. Don't try to wade Peg too early. A guy drowned a few years back trying to cross on foot. Be careful out there.

You re exactly right, once that place dries up you can see all the large holes and drops.  That plus low visibility in the water is asking for disaster.  It is drowning season.
