went this after noon for a couple of hours and was skunked again, fished a few holes that produced well in the past, zip-nada-zilch......did'n even see one jump.

It is really early, hopefully its not a repeat from last year, but come mid june we'll see.

seen a big ugly black bear mid about 1.5-2 miles below the hatchery, kinda looked hungry and scary......would not move from the trail so I decided to go the other way.........after squirting my buddy with honey.......I ran. ;D

Fished the cap yesterday with a buddy. Got there around 3pm but the bite didn't turn on until about 5:30. I managed to hook a coho about 3 or 4lbs that snapped my leader after a minute long battle! a few cast later my buddy hooked an 8lbs steelie and then a few cast after that had another solid hit only to snap off after a few head shakes! All fish were hooked on bait. Also saw about a dozen or so jumpers. Not many guys where we were. Great day on the river!

Honey AND bacon grease will emulsify and work much better..... ;D
