Title: Tying Wool
Post by: timbo on September 22, 2005, 09:44:25 AM
Hi Everyone.

I'm hoping to get a bit of help on tying wool for those Vedder springs. Any suggestions on best tying knot and colors would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

I like blood red wool for the whites but really, I think you can catch them on any colour depending conditions.  I dont think anything out produces good roe tho (for coho or springs).

to attach yarn or roe to a hook, tie a bait loop, tuck a tuft of yarn underneith it and trim it up...thats it.

Here is a good link with instructions for the baitloop.
