Title: Chilliwack River, March 1st 2009
Post by: winter steel on March 01, 2009, 10:08:03 PM
Really nice to get out to the river as it has been quite some time since I had been out in chase of steelhead with a good friend (bug pumper). Anyway, water clarity was okay approximately two feet, less towards the canal. Canal dead low, no action in the lower end, did manage a fish further up river, unfortunately as has been the case for much of the season lost the fish at my feet. Relatively slow, but not all that busy which was nice, good luck to those that can get out mid-week, and cover plenty of water if you want success, tight lines WS.

Thanks Wintersteel for the report, nice to know whats going on as one never knows when a chance to visit the river will avail itself. Sorry to hear you didn't have better luck but there's always next time.
