Title: Pike Minnow Derby Set For Cultus Lake
Post by: chris gadsden on June 15, 2005, 12:12:13 AM
This coming Saturday the Fraser Valley Salmon Society in conjuction with Fisheries and Oceans Canada along with Freshwater Fisheries Society Of BC proudly present their All About Fishing Family Event.

This pike minnow derby will be held at Cultus Lake with derby headquarters at Main Beach.

Loads of prizes, games, good food, some boats courtesy of Fraser River Guides Association will be on hand to offer their boats to take children and thier familys out for a short period to try to get the big one.

Great job by Dean and other guides to offer their services free of charge of course once again.

For further details on the derby you can PM me.

Will send a cute picture to Rodney of a dad and his son out practicing for the event. Shot the picture on Sunday. This is what fishing is all about. They entered last year and got two or three. ;D
