I was wondering if it is worth to go there around xmas .. any advices ?!

It depends on what your definition of "worth" is. Lake fishing in the Lower Mainland typically slows down from December to February because of the cold weather. There should still be some fish in the lake as not all from the spring and fall stockings are always caught. It just takes a bit longer to get a bite. Browning also has a tendency to freeze in the winter time and the ice is not thick enough for you to stand on, which means it won't be fishable under that condition. Regardless, it is a nice area to visit especially on a dry day, bring some warm drinks, enjoy the crisp fresh air, can't go wrong.

Seems awfully quiet now haven`t seen anyone fish it since early november this year.
