Between me and several other people we hit several valley systems today. All of them are completley blown. If you're planning on going out tomorrow I reccomend making other plans.

-

-
Mind you I was looking forward to the Vedder!!!! ;) ;) ;) But if the Chehalis looks like that I can't imagine what the vedder looks like. :'( :'( Oh well, at least I have a poker tourney tomorrow, maybe that will keep me entertained!!!! ;) ;)
-
Seeing as biff hasnt replied yet....biff pm'd me a few days ago say he was plannig to fish thurs/friday on the chehalis and saturday on the squam...If I know biff, that looks like a spot he took me on the chehalis for sure...sorry boys...looks like your plans may be on thin ice.
As well drove over the cap at the #1 HWY and the river was bank to bank below the bridge....who know what they will do with the dam over night tho.
-
just great...................maybe just go barfishing instead.
-
I am still going out to some local flows. Even if I get skunked it will be a good day. Just pretend you are steelhead fishing ;D
-
do you think it will still be bad with the lull this eve???? I really need to get out this weekend!!! :-\ :-\ :-\
-
Depends on what happens tonight. The smaller systems go up and down allot quicker, so if it rains hard tonight all systems will most likely be blown. If the rain holds off the smaller systems should be alright tomorrow. If they blow out you can turn it into a trout day as the local lakes should be producing quite well about now. Another alternative is fishing for bull trout in the Fraser as its really picked up in the last couple weeks. How about some sturgeon if you have the gear. Their are always opportunities to fish in the LM.
-
Gooey's right with the river but wrong on the spot. Normally the water in that spot is about 6 feet lower. :o
-
can anyone clarify if the chehalis is blown...??

im pretty biff just summed that question up.. it is
-
the local flows were ridiculous today eddie. couldn't even get past the first pool on the one.
I figured as much but I am still going out. I am a diehard and if I dont catch anything than I get to see some great scenery close to my house 8)
We'll have to hook up for steel this year.
-
Does mean the canyon will be that high and proboly nopt fishable for tomorrow???
-
They're forcasting another 20-30mm of rain so I'll let you figre it out......
-
You acting Wise with me?....hahah im sure the river will be fine
-
So ahhhh, what are you tryin to say Biff!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
ya.... so is it a go or no go...
-
hey eddie99, i think i know where u are going i'll be there tomarrow also ;)
-
Try the Stave...Its has a big reservoir behind it and dam controlled will help somewhat.
-
The Vedder is still fishable for coho as of late this afternoon, it colored up quite a bit during the day, and rose some too, but running a blade through edges and froggy stuff will still produce.
-
blown or not blown if your determind you will catch fish, ( i remember the vedder so blown one day the water was up about 8 feet higher than usuall and i limited out in 3hrs, one of the funnest times ive had on the river) so stop debating and get out there, like some of you said even if you dont catch fish isnt it nice just being out in the nature. ;)
-
well is 6 and im out the door to the halis WHHHHOHOOO
-
I was going to fish today, but I think I will go blacktail hunting instead to try to get the brother of the deer I took home last weekend.
-
thats the spirit kid
-
was out this morning on the dewdney and inch creek. lots of fisherman...lots of chum and mostly chrome. inch creek is very fishable but lots of fisherman there as well. stave river is a little high and does change with the tide but the water clarity is good. good luck guys.
-
Can you fish for salmon in Inch Creek?
-
Despite the doom and gloom of rivers blown, on the 10th I had a silver flash at a spoon in one system that I couldn't bring home, and a chum in the yap on a blade. The next system I had a tug and roll by something suspiciously not chum-like on a spinner and bonked a chrome little hatch jack (that hit a spinner mounted with a 2/0 gammie. I don't buy this "small hooks is better" business. If they want your offering, 2/0 is not too gargantuan). On the next system I hooked 2 coho, bonked a hatch doe and again some chum in the yap.
-
Well, I hit the vedder yesterday, One wild hoe, and a couple of clean chum, no black on the bellies!!!!! So, it was a pretty good day!!! Had a couple of nice battles!!!! The water looked pretty good when I left, about 18"-2ft vis and it was dropping. Walked a lot of the river yesterday, some places are starting to look really good for steely season!!!!!! ;D ;D
-
i guess biff was wrong ;D
-
Freak, look at the picture, if you don't consider that blown then you're just off base. I reported what I saw and "if you don't like hat you see then don't read it". Didn't consider the snow line dropping when I said it would blow.
-
there noe really blown
-
Biff doesn't he have to read it in order to know whether or not he isn't going to like it!!!!!! ;D ;D

ya. maybe it would help, if people would mention the names of the rivers, instead of playing guessing games. its not like there's any danger of giving away fishing spots.
that's why its called a report. if you don't want to share your info or if you're not really interested in helping anybody out....don't bother.
-
Agreed.....If you go look at a river and see that it is blown please give the name or (names)...this could really help poeple out
-
Please note that the title of the thread is Fraser Valley RiverS, not just a particular system. The system where the photo was taken was already named on the first page, Chehalis. :)
-
some of us, don't take information like that 'fore granted' , considering we live over 80 to 100 kms away (depending on what systems we want to fish). it would be no different, if i was to pass information on regarding waters where i live.

Well if thats the way you feel perhaps you would prefer it if I didn't post anything and let you drive out there to decide for yourself if the river is in fact fishable.
-
the way you post ends up with the same results anyway...so no loss.
if i'm gonna end up guessing, how do you figure you've helped me out?
Biff not posting=no information
Biff posting riddles= useless information
no information=useless information. :P
