Helped my buddy chase this big wild buck about 1/2 km downriver at the cement slab on Saturday, posted my vid on the C/V River uptades thread but then I made some changes after my friend sent me the second angle footage he had from the bank. You really get to see what a hog this fish is with the new angle, and I love how it switches back and forth from the two angles. Hope you guys enjoy!

Hope to see that guy in Centennial Channel about mid May ... ;)

You mean the fish? Yes it was a quick release lol hence why we didn't get the "money shot" pic at the end. It bolted out of the rocks and spat the hook 2 seconds after the end (I edited that out as it didn't look very graceful lol)

Haha ... yeah I meant the fish ;)

Very nice...love the tune! ;D
Years ago, I would have done the same...chase the fish along a slippery rocky bank like that without any second thoughts.
Now I know better. I'd give the fish slack and wait till it starts swimming back upstream. No more chasing for me.
My neck is more valuable to me than any fish. I must be getting old... :(

Thanks Milo! In all honesty this was so much fun and great video to share with friends for years to come if I could do it over I wouldn't hesitate for a second. At 40 years (young) I still have a little piss n vinegar left in me. Plus it's rare that I fish with friends (I fish alone a lot) so I wasn't going to miss the chance to document this action. Harvey (on the other hand) (who caught the fish) is in his 60's and my hat is off to him for some pretty fancy foot shuffling!!

Great fish and great tale to go along with it. You know its exciting when 100 yards turns into 1/2km down river.
