Title: Slow drifting Cap . June 22 nd.
Post by: gumboots on June 22, 2004, 11:34:06 AM
Did my run to the Cap. early this morn. and nobody there yet.. First one to the run , half doz . casts  and first fish on , Nice and heavy feeling , Typical roll and flash , then straight towards me ,could not catch up , spit the hook .Lost a few more but got  a couple for the the neighbours .Enjoyed my outing , peacefull , quiet ,....lotsa bird activity ..neat .....till next time on the flow ,
Water is  VERY low , so it makes it a slow drift .....if you are out , Good Luck  !!

I was over there yesturday and we fished dogleg saw one jump but notta. There were tons in that ladder at the hatchery I guess they pushed through last week or so when I was in Norther Ontario. Boy do they look nice! Anyone know any raindances, I'm going to try my luck at Ambleside from the shore low tide is in a couple hours. You never know and it's a great day. Later.

O.k. notta at Amble, no one fishing either. No risers, it's early still. Went to Cable and met Rosco and we had a few hits I had one on but he quickly popped off.
