Title: is rice frozen over?

Anyone know if rice has started to freeze over?

I wouldn't think so.  As a kid I fished it a lot, it didn't seem to begin to freeze until later in November.  Of couse this will vary, but I would think you have plenty of time to find soft water.

Ice fishing up there was fun, but not sure how safe it was.  Wear a PFD, and bring hand spikes if you decide to fish hard water.

Not freeze yet.
Water temp was 5.8℃ on Nov.6Th
