Just talked to my dad who is leaving Peg leg with 2 sox, and 1 lost spring in less than 2 hours this afternoon.
How long does it take for the fish to get to the scale bar (Once passed peg leg), or other bars out near hope? Just wondering if tomorrow afternoon will be productive out there? Just wondering cause of the commercial opening.
-
Was the commercial opening for sockeye only? Do they scoop up the springs too or they are required to release springs? I think Pegleg should be toasted tomorrow by the Tue opening, but bars near Hope should have some 'hope' of getting into fish. ;D

That little bit of 'hope' is what i'm looking for. Will let you guy's know how it goes, but I'll be out there in the afternoon.
-
Anybody see any netmarks on these fish that have been caught, or are they clean indicating they were spared by the nets?
-
Caught one today at peg with a mark by its tail.
-
It's hard to tell...I was catching soxs up by hope yesterday and some had net marks on them, most likely from the Native nets.
-
There were fish a plenty in Hope this morning.......here's to the 'hope' that they will still be there in the late afternoon once I get out there.
-
it will taper off for a day or so but then will pick right back up. gives ya a break to do some chores around the house(yes dear i fixed the sink) get what i mean ;D :D :D

Forget the chores, they'll still be there after DFO closes the opening.
I figure even a bad/slow day on the river beats any other kind of work anyday.

I'm guesssing you're single :) Or maybe the wife has dropped all her chores too...

Nicole,
I've got a long list of chores from the wife (they're just sitting there for now), but the sox are only out for a limited time. My wife is fairly understanding, although I'd still like to get out more than I do :)
Just got back from hope a while ago. We had our 4 fish (Me and a buddy) in about 2.5 hours. Not tonnes of fish comming out, but we were into a decent spot and got ours. 2 more got away, plus one released that was fould hooked.
