After all, if we won all the time then what would be the excitment in that. Besides, Edmonton will loose to the deadthings tonight and will not make any ground on us.

That was one of the most dominating performances I have ever seen from any NHL team... Annaheim were never even in the game... bad luck and some horrible bounces...after Edmonton loses tonight to Detroit, which is a given!! Canucks will be right back in the hunt for a playoff spot... when they win their last three games there is nothing Edmonton can do, because even if they tie Canucks in points they have less wins and Canucks are in !!!!! sorry to dampen your spirits Chris ... but it aint over till the fat lady sings.... ;D

Oh yeah and Toronto sucks!!!!!!

Now that would be backing into the playoffs, then that would take the pressure off them, cause no-one thinks they can win anyways!! ::) Then right to the Cup baby!!! ;) ;D

Whether or not you like him as a goalie, he is an emotional guy and plays with his heart on his sleeve. Something the Canucks of late have been desperately misssing.

Auld is the backbone of that team.. it will crumble right now if they took him out.. and there are many many people that would stop watching if they pulled Auld for that loser right now..

He never makes THE save when the team needs it. They might sneak into the payoffs but they'll get creamed in the first round.

The team just wilts after he lets in a softy. The only reason he's playing is because the team couldn't call up Flaherty without losing him on waivers. Just pathetic. I feel sorry for all the season ticket holders paying top dollars to watch a third rate goalie.

Auld wasn't at fault tonight or most any other night.. mental breakdowns cost them a point tonight... sorry but you can't peg this loss on the goalie... tonight Canucks are gonna win and Edmonton are gonna lose simple as that.. the point they got last night was huge.. two would have been better but one is all we will need ;D ;D ;D

I think you need to start thinking before you type!!! you honestly believe that a team ever made it the finals with goaltending alone????? both years they made it to the finals they had great defense , forwards and goaltending... did you watch the game last night??? you honestly think that Auld had any help from his defense.. jesus they gave the puck away so many times in the neutral zone.. he was standing on his head to even keep them in the game.. the Canucks are missing the playoffs this year due to bad discipline, bad defense and laziness... it is too bad , I love the Canucks but I hate it when they don't all put out an effort.... I think Auld is one of the top five goalioes in the league!!! ask any coach in the league , you can bet they all want him on their team next year....
