Title: Fishing times
Post by: ever_hopefull on October 31, 2006, 06:32:00 PM
Ok - I must be having a seniors moment (although not a senior).  I recall seeing a restriction on fishing times being from sunrise to sunset, but I also thought I saw something saying that fishing is allowed 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset.  In talking to a colleague who usually knows these things, he was surprised with the thought of a restriction because he sometimes has the best summer time lake fishing on a full moon at midnight.  I searched the regs and cannot find anything to substantiate any of my thoughts and recollections.  ???

What am I missing (besides my mind  :-\)?

What you are thinking of is the daylight restrictions that are in place on certain systems. They only apply to rivers and I believe you will find them in your fresh water salmon supplement.
