My guess, he is optimistic.. as stated before, he believes if something is said often enough it becomes fact. How many times has the Leaf advisor said the Cup is theirs? ;D

True, true. I suspect Chris is drinking to drown his sorrows and trying to convince Johnny Bower and George Armstrong to come out of retirement to play Sunday. If not he will attend church and seek divine intervention. :)

Chris I hope TO gets the bounces or totally out wills the Caps.
Will power I think both teams have.
Maybe an advisor should add some zzz pills to the Caps water bottles OR pull fire alarms or itch power in their jerseys or... ( nothing like sportsmanship )
Go Canadian teams go Stanley belongs in CANADA  8)

You should be Chris. That team has a lot going for it and you have much to look forward to next year.
Canucks have a high draft pick and LOTS of old tired baggage.

The Leafs were good, real good, and won one more than I thought they would.  They will be a team to reckoned with for the next 5-8 years.  Some defense (Tanev maybe, in exchange for Marner  ::))is needed but Chris, you have a team to be proud of.  Wear your Leaf's hat proudly, but perhaps throw it in the wash first ...

Each game was close. Both goalies played super. 5 OT games.
Easily could be TO winning this series.
Players played their hearts out.
3 Canada based teams out...Oilers & Ottawa going forward.
Lots of good hockey ahead.
Record # of OT s
16 teams suddenly cut to 8.
FA predicted the series would go 6.
Nashville vs St Louis
Oilers vs Ducks
Ottawa vs Rangers
Caps vs Pens.
All main events !!!!
All 8 teams are talented & hungry for a Cup.
TO has gained lots of respect from NHL fans.

The foundation is built and with the talent the young guns bring, watch the Leafs to be a force in the upcoming years.
But in the meantime - GO OTTAWA AND GO OILERS! BRING THE MUG HOME TO CANADA!

Leafs & Canucks please watch the playoffs & learn what & what not to do.
Do not do what the Oilers did & do what the Ducks did.
End of lesson.

Oh ya what happened the other night was the Oilers were leading by 3 goals to zippo & 3 minutes 1 sec left on the play clock in the 3rd period.
Yes play for 3 minutes & kill the clock ...end of game. People had bet $$$ on the Oilers win plus many many fans were cheering on this team from Edmonton Canada. Even the Great One must of been all smiles at this point. Number 99 Wayne Gretzky.
Twight light zone or what????? Ducks score 3 unanswered goals to tie the game  :o
In 2 OT the Ducks score the winner.
This is like needing only 5 more meters to go but one quits from getting to the top of mt Everest.
Fans are either in total shock or in total bliss depending if your a fan for which team.
So Canucks & Maple Leafs do not do & do what other team did.
( kinda a weird name for a sports team Maple Leafs. Guess it has grown on people )
Kinda like naming the Vegas NHL new comer team Vegas Rose Bushes  :-[
Betters who lost big $$$ on the Oiler loss are still shaking their heads.
Bars with cheering fans suddenly got very silent.
People eating drinking socializing at hockey parties suddenly lost their appetite. People who felt light as a feather suddenly walked like they had lead boots on.
Duck players must of went home & laughed their heads off as they tried to sleep!!!!!
Oilers must of tossed & turned.
Oilers must be so embarrassed thus may come out like stinging bees the rest of series & destroy the Ducks or they will be so demoralized they lose & get kicked out of the playoffs.

That was an unbelievable finish, surrendering 3 goals in 3 minutes left. Inexcusable.

Absolutely.

Oilers were pissed & won today 7-1.
Hornet's nest.
Game 7 next game.
3-0 lead again & lose ( ha !)
No way hosea. If Oilers are up by 3 goals in game 7 ya just know they will win with 3 minutes left.
Should be one great game.

Caps lose game 7 in their building. 2-0 score.
Guess the Leafs got the Caps tired thus Pens outlasted them.
Caps run out of gas.
Ottawa defeats NY in the Big Apple. Ottawa vs Pens next series.
Nashville is having a good rest & meet the Ducks or Oilers.
Game 7  tied 1-1 half way thru the game.
Caps gotta be so down as they are such a good team year after year but they never get the cigar.
Pens are hungry to repeat. Won last year Stanley. ( greedy guys ha! )
Either Oilers Ducks Nashville Pens or Ottawa will be the champs this year.
