BREAKING NEWS - LA Kings fired Daryl Sutter.....Might be a good fit for the new coach.
Lidster was let go too ( assit coach. ) bible thumper Doug Jarvis kept on the payroll.
I liked Willie D as he really looked like he was attentive & looked frustrated when losing.
He is the fall guy.
He is the leader of the team behind the bench but he makes less $$$ than the players. He can be fired anytime but some of his workers have long contracts  & no trade clause.
Plus 21 players can be a big number against a lonely solo coach.
Coaches can try to crack the whip but players kinda laugh inside.  ( we are more powerful than you. )
A coach I think should run very hard practises if he senses his team slanging.
Only weapon he has or benching players...
Willie was the nice guy & players took advantage of it.

As far as D Sutter goes ...he sure looks like a type who looks mad all the time.
Something tells me if the Canucks play soft & weak he would see it & blast the players.
Maybe he would be a good fit.
Canuck players need a coach that can take charge. Yell scream hard practises benching....& no favourites or nice treatment to higher rank players. ( twins for example. )

FA would fit the bill on your last sentence but not sure if he can skate, that would hurt his chances but glad he still is there as an advisor. It will be a tough few years to be one. I know all about that. ;D ;D ;D

Winner was a perfect shot.
Zinger in the top corner.
If the Canucks took that shot from the far boards & at a bad angle the shot would of hit the goalie's leg pads.
Winning teams with talented players shoot fast pucks at the top & bottom corners.
Canucks just blindly take shots.
95% of their shots are easy saves for the opposing goalie.
TO got a punch in the face tonight.
Close game though.

Only one game in a series is a long way from being over. We of course were the best team out there, a win coming up in a little over 24 hours, make sure you tune in.

They don't award participation ribbons for being the "best team out there" ;D

Your wife needs to get on this thread and put FA straight.

She knows in her heart that the Composts are doomed. No defence or goaltending.

Incase you missed my post on this prediction. ;D ;D ;D I am sure FA would have watched it hoping we would lose but maybe I should not say this as he will be cheering us on to the Cup. :P
