Congratulations Chris. Before you start planning the parade route, may I remind you what happened against Boston the last time the Composts made the playoffs. Go Habs, Sens, Flames and Oilers. I seem to have forgotten another team. ;D ;D
Just a reminder the title of this topic.

Totally in SHOCK  :o
The last home game for the Canucks & they lose !
Honestly thought they would literally dig deep & pot in at least 5 goals.
When the players went to centre ice & lifted their sticks to salute fans....there was zero reaction.
Fans just stared at them.
Only lively people in the seats were Oiler followers.
Canuck players seeing the zero reaction to the salute then skated fast off the ice.
Now the Leafs game!
Pens threw everything at them & Leafs fought back ever time & got the W.
Fans were so happy. They were entertained & got their $$$ worth 10 fold.
The $$$ the Canuck fans dished out was -10 fold. They were ripped off / robbed all season.
Think Canuck fans who go to the games must have easy work or they won the lotto or have rich dads.
People that work & sweat hard for their bucks would not buy a Canuck ticket ( watch games on boob tube only. )
When you see the big pay players not making a dif. then why are they being paid that much?
Management handed out the candy for what ?
Canucks should get rid of the twins even if they have to pay even half of the salary for some team to take them. Most games they coast out there. Maybe age or the big loss in finals were too much to over come in their minds.
Lastly congrads to the other Canadian teams. Hope they roar far into the playoffs.
Go Leafs Go...( Chris congrads ! )

As for the Canuck fans ....lose lose lose ripped off ripped off & add to that 70 hrs of sunshine 1/2 the norm in March plus gloomy April so far has made LML & BC residents rather depressed.

Heard thru the grapevine thumb tacks will be put on the Canuck player bench at will in 17/18 season.
When they play poorly a few tacks will be put on the bench by assit coaches.
When players sit down & get the ouch surely they will get the point to suck it up & perform.
Before games they will sit for 10 minutes staring at blackboard. Sentence on board: (today shoot the puck at net many times. Go for the & bang in rebounds.
Shoot shoot shoot. Aim for the 4 corners. Thank you owner management coaches & FANS OKed this message)
These jokers are just all smiles & give me my cheque & early vacation ..the sun the fun sandy beach green groomed golf courses restaurants tennis courses ... ( we are awarded for missing play offs...those other suckers 16 teams are busting their butts for what...15 will be crying in their beer )
Canuck players have out smarter the owners coaches & fans...maybe every 5 years they will push extra to give us fans something to "chew on"
Canucks players remind me of the WWE. Planned out Ha!
They guys only want to get tick tack toe goals.
They do not want to blue collar it & check check & shoot & bang they net. When pushed they should shove back to stand their ground. Not just be sitting dummies.
Boo boo boo. Their leaders are the tick tack toe boys. We need leaders like Stan the steamer types.
Even little Cliff Ronning zeroed close to the net looking for loose pucks.
Get rid of the twins or just put them on the 4th line & limit their play time. Non trade so bench them or 4th line. Let the other guys in there to take command. Twins smile too much after many losses.
Check out other players who want to win & if they lose 2-3 games in a week they get moody & grumpy.
Win & then they smile.

Since this is an autopsy...... See Ya Willie! Take your dog (Ericson) with you! I agree the twins are done, so is Edler.Sbisa is absolutely useless. Megna got an extension? Why? 4 goals and 4 assists in 50 plus games and no grit? Sell Gudbranson for a bag of pucks and a cheese pizza.Give Subban a shot. Some toughness and sandpaper is needed- Dorsett and Labate. Ryan Miller is too old.

I spend a lot of money on going to games. The one I enjoyed the most was with Chris. I'm looking forward to the Lions already.

Caps are going to light them up. Caps in 5.

Next year maybe we can start a NHL thread titled " what a night for (insert draft picks name here) and Canada's #1 team, the Canucks."

Better set a reminder for next year FA.

House cleaning today with Willie out the door. More of a concern to many of us here is if FA is gone to, I guess the press conference is on now so we may know his fate soon but he may be gone as he has not posted on this shake up with his team. :P

Still here Chris, too busy making the Canucks great again ! Leafs would be playing the Senators had they been able to get one point. Remember all those blown leads earlier in the season ? Came back to haunt the Composts.
