fishing at Pender Island

Hi,

I am new to fishing and will stay in Pender Island for a weed in end of June. I do not have a boat so pretty much I will be fishing by the shore. Any chance to catch spring or other species? Tips or hints on fish species, spots or others are appreciated.  Thanks in advance
