Don't kid yourself. Peamouth chub of course. :)

In August and September, fishing for chub can be awesome at night as it seems only the big ones will bite.

Dogfish...with a glow stick within legal limit of your hook...it works wonders

Anyone used small mini glowsticks on their float in the 1 hour prior or post sunrise/set?  Effective?

ok, my night fishing experience was as follows;   ossoyoos lake,   spring time,   early spring time,    fishing all day and then into the   night because I know the carp show up in the shallows looking for food, depending on where you are fishing,  this is all from the shore by the way  , so   then bang bang bang the carp are biting and being  dragged in with my ultra light bamboo rod and tiny shimano reel . Oh , and they were  released  too.  I was just in it for the fun,  and did have fun. I have  caught some In the daytime   big lunkers too but not in the shallows,  another place on this nice lake. what a crowded place though in the   summer.   summmer is   no good for the night shallow fishing, no luck this last summer.     ok,     there you have it!!
