Geff:  Wishing your niece and your family all the best, our little ones are so precious.

I didn't give santa a chance this year, I got all the stuff I wanted already.  I only want more time on the water  :-[

Hey Fisherforever I'm in the same boat as you. Not divorced yet but separated since May '09. I'm bringing my own Christmas joy this year. ;D I just bought an 13' 8/9 wt spey rod with an Okuma Sierra 10/11 reel. I just have to put an Airflo ridge running line on it with a Scandi head and Skagit Compact head. I am also eying up an Islander Steelheader with a Trophy XL 11'3" rod. For my stocking I think I'll throw in a few lines. Cortland Steady Sink type 3 and type 6 as well as a Rio indicator dry line. I think that should do it for my retail therapy this holiday season.  ::) Oh yah almost forgot. A Panasonic TS1 camera.

Man, I love to fish but I don't place a a high value on all the gear that you boys do. My workhorse spinning rod is 23 years old and go-to driftfishing rig is 15+ years old.

My Fishmas gift however will be the used breathable wading jacket that I bought 2 weeks ago.
