Canada vs Germany today. German team in times past were a joke but no more.
( did you hear about the secret exhibition game between Slovaks vs Leafs?
8-0 after 1 period. Leafs changed into their street cloths & never hit the ice for period 2 ha ha ha ha ! Guess they had a calculator & figured it may end 24 to zippo. )
Kidding aside there is some very skilled & exciting hockey being displayed by these World Juniors.
Honestly more entertaining than most NHL games.

This was one crazy but exciting game.
Canada gets 2 quick goals with the game mere minutes old.
Then in the 2nd period Canada gets a bunch & it looks like a landslide.
Suddenly Russia gets a rash of goals & makes it 5-4 Canada.
9 goals scored after 40 minutes.
Then the 3rd period ZERO goals by either team !!!
We get Gold Russia silver & Slovaks bronze.
Sweden not so happy.
Major 5 minute penalty to Swedes sure did not help the cause for net zero metal.
Thrill of victory & agony of defeat.
