very very nice as always
I take it more than just point and click?

Beautiful pics Dragon Speed.
Bank of China building brings back old memories as my office used to be located in that building when I worked in Hong Kong many years ago.
A striking building designed by I.M. Pei.

Thank you... you must also know about the Fung shuei controversy between the BoC and HSBC then too :o

Thanks Lead!
Well, AFTER getting down either down to the Kowloon pier or UP to Victoria peak and hoping that the humid haze was low enough... there's setting up the tripod, hoping people don't knock or walk in front. Then, there's the shot. Long exposure... A little post procesing to boost the contrast to "de-haze" and a bit of a saturation bump to give it some "kick". But, yeah - the essence of the shot is "point and click" ;D

The HSBC building designed by Norman Foster is also a spectacular building.
So much more intricate and detailed than the BoC building.
I heard that it was the most expensitve building ever built at that time and was rumoured to have an underground tunnel dug from the basement vault to the harbour. :o
I remember reading somewhere at that time that the HSBC building costed 4 times more than the BoC building to build.
From the inside it is an amazing building.

I didn't know the cost. It was definitely interest to see the inside... Interesting architecture indeed.
