Fishing in Terrace
« on: March 13, 2008, 01:01:16 PM »

Has anyone used Terrace Sportfishing Adventures for guided trips? I am going to Terrace next week and wanted to get some fishing in while I was there.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

The only time I fished in Terrace was without a guide and it was on the Skeena almost directly underneath the bridge that the Yellowhead goes over.  It was a productive and popular spot (lots of people there catching fish).  That was in the month of July though and we were catching springs and the odd Coho.  Not sure what its like this time of year, but July is an awesome month to fish the Skeena, Kalum, Kitimat, and Nass rivers!

Talked with him at the show on the weekend, sure knows his stuff, has a passion for fishing and what he does.  That is about all you can ask from a guide..

Hey roeman, are you referring to Terrace Sportfishing Adventures or the company that J.G. gave info on in his post when you say you talked to the Guide

Well, I sent Emails to both Terrace Sportfishing Adventure and bc-steelhead on the same day and Stan at bc-steelhead was the only one that responded to my request for further information.  Thanks J.G. for Stan's web site link. I am now setting up a steelhead trip with Stan

Hey split shot, I would be interested to here how your trip went when you get back.
I'm trying to put together a trip for myself later in the year and have never even been to the area before never mind fish it.
Looking forward to your posts, hopefully with lots of pics.   :)
