We are going there for Easter (Family Holiday). My question is fly patterns - What to use? Muddler Minnows, Doc Spratleys - what else? As I need to start tying. Thanks in advance

Dave, not everyone's retired and can hang out on FWR 24/7... ;)
A few years ago we went to St Mary pretty early, in the first week of May, not as early as when you are going, but with this mild weather they should be biting earlier anyway. I did ok just using leech patterns and olive/brown wooly buggers for bass, rainbows and cutthroats. The rainbows were especially aggressive when we were there, constantly surfacing in the shallow water and can be seen darting around the dock where we stayed.

there can be very heavy chironomid/midge hatches on St Mary's. It was many years ago but I was there around late April early May for 2 days and there were heavy emergences both days with very heavy rises of fish as well.
