Should Have Known Better
« on: August 08, 2008, 10:35:10 PM »

While fishing for jacks this week I had what I thought was a chinook jack on so I flipped it onto the rocks as I was going to retain it. To my horror I discovered it was a nice sized rainbow and I had not looked closely enough.

Maybe I should have kept it after putting it through so much stress but after taking the hook out before returning it to the river it flipped out of my hands, onto the rocks again before finding the water by itself, not one of my finer angling moments and it left me red faced with Rodney and Mark shaking their heads at me, as they should have. :-[ :o :(

A Beako Begone I was and it bothered me the rest of the trip. Although I should have known a lot better and it should have not happened it did but I will never do that again.

I can not blame it on a Senior moment as I am not 65 for a few days yet. :-X
