Title: Pays to head out
Post by: Fish Assassin on February 01, 2005, 04:00:38 PM
On the spur of the moment after lunch I decided to head to my local flow for a little fishing. Arrived at my favourite spot to find it totally deserted. Quickly changed into my waders and hiked to my favourite pool. River is slightly up from couple of days ago and poor visibility. Conditions were far from ideal but as they say, you never know. On my fifth cast landed a nice chrome cutthroat on a roe bag. Called it quits after flogging that pool for another 40 minutes. On the way back to my car, talked to a couple of other anglers that arrived after me. Nothing for them.
